Acceptable Use Policy

This Policy describes activities that are not permitted on HostMentor India's Services. It exists to keep the platform safe, fast, and reliable for everyone.
1. Prohibited content
You may not host illegal content, child sexual abuse material, content that infringes intellectual property, or material that is defamatory or unlawful under applicable law.
2. Security & abuse
No malware distribution, phishing, unauthorized scanning or access, botnets, or activity that compromises the security of others. Compromised sites may be suspended to protect the platform.
3. Spam & messaging
No unsolicited bulk email or messaging, and no use of our network to send spam. Email features must comply with anti-spam laws and sender best practices (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
4. Resource usage
Shared plans must not consume resources in ways that degrade service for others (e.g. crypto mining, sustained heavy background processing). We'll suggest a suitable plan if your usage outgrows shared hosting.
5. Enforcement
We may remove content, throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate this Policy, with notice where practical. Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate suspension.
6. Reporting
Report abuse to contact@hostmentor.com with details and evidence, and we'll investigate promptly.
